Acoustic Insulation Solutions for Construction and Large-Scale Projects

STS Isolamenti works alongside general contractors, architectural firms and property developers to design and implement systems engineered for acoustic insulation and the reduction of construction noise.

Through patented technologies specifically developed for the construction sector, we ensure compliance with acoustic regulations complete with on-site performance verification.

Acoustic Insulation Integrated into the Architectural Design

Acoustic comfort is a key factor in determining the market value and livability of modern buildings. High urban density and the presence of powerful high-tech services require an engineering approach that blends seamlessly with the architecture.

For this reason, we work in tandem with designers and contractors from the early stages of project development, identifying the main sound transmission paths and defining solutions well suited to the spaces, finishes and construction processes planned for the site.

Innovation for Construction: The MF-Core Patent

In order to address complex building and construction site requirements, we have developed and patented MF-Core technology (Masse Flottanti™ Core). This exclusive engineering system was specifically designed for the construction sector and enables us to implement acoustic solutions that achieve significantly higher on-site noise reduction than conventional building materials.

Beyond Certifications: Guaranteed Performance

In large-scale construction projects, relying on laboratory certified products that have not been tested on site can expose the project to significant risks given that actual performance may vary as a result of installation conditions. In an effort to mitigate these risks, we coordinate acoustic analysis, mechanical design, 3D modeling and system installation. Where required by the project, performance is verified by way of on-site acoustic measurements so that we can compare results with defined noise reduction targets.
