The Acoustic Design Process
We begin by analyzing noise sources and sound propagation paths in order to design customized soundproofing systems that are compatible with the structural, production, aerodynamic and thermal requirements of the facility.
From this initial assessment phase to the 3D design process to installation and on-site performance verification we manage every project directly.
Fase 1
Acoustic, Structural and Mechanical Analysis
Each successful project begins with a thorough analysis and assessment of both the noise source and the installation environment. We scientifically investigate the source of the issue by applying principles of acoustics and mechanics.
At this stage, we map critical frequencies, sound propagation paths and the aerodynamic and thermal requirements of the equipment as well as the physical space available. The data we collect enables us to define noise reduction targets and to design an effective solution that is suitable to the available space and with the client’s operational requirements.
Phase 2
3D Engineered Design
Our technical department processes the data we collect using modelling software and applying our Masse Flottanti™ methodology. We then develop a noise control system that is precisely engineered to suit the client’s needs.
STS offers patented technologies that reduce the thickness of the materials used and therefore the overall footprint of the intervention while ensuring seamless structural and aesthetic integration with the surrounding project or environment.
Phase 3
Manufacturing and Installation with Performance Guarantee
Our in-house Project Management team coordinates every operational phase, from the manufacturing of components to on-site installation, optimizing construction schedules and minimizing the likelihood of unforeseen issues.
Installation is carried out by our own specially trained technicians. Given the high level of precision in the design and a tailored strategic approach, installation-related risks are minimal and we are able to provide our clients with contractual certainty and to verify acoustic performance on site.
