Acoustic design for Virgin Revolution Gym

STS Isolamenti provided acoustic insulation for the new Revolution by Virgin Active concept gym, the first of its kind to be launched in Italy.

The project had several objectives. First, we were to develop a system to contain the music played during sessions to the training space. Second, we were to ensure acoustic comfort for members. Finally, we were tasked with integrating the soundproofing structure with the advanced technological features of the concept.

To achieve these objectives, we applied the Masse Flottanti™ method and implemented low-thickness materials, tailoring a solution to suit the limited space available on the premises.

The resulting solution blends perfectly with the surrounding environment.
