Osai AS: semi-anechoic acoustic enclosure for high-precision testing
We custom-designed a semi-anechoic acoustic enclosure to protect a highly advanced piece of equipment manufactured by Osai AS S.p.A., a leader in the field. The system is used to perform high-precision noise measurements on microphones intended for electronic devices.
The equipment had been installed inside of a production environment where measurements were significantly affected by surrounding activity.
Noise measuring on microphones requires an extremely quiet environment. The acoustic enclosure built to house and protect the unit features BM Performance™ technology implemented through application of our exclusive Masse Flottanti™ method, making it the highest-performance metal enclosure possible.
The enclosure is also equipped with a forced ventilation system, which has been acoustically treated to ensure both consistent performance and proper air exchange.
